As per DroidHolic, Moto is set to host another event come June 27th. We don’t know for sure what the company will unveil this time as we’ve already seen the Moto Z2 Play, Moto E4, Moto C series, and the Moto G5 and G5 Plus. But at least according to the leaked poster for the event, it looks like we’ll see more additions to the company’s Z2 lineup for 2017.
As you can see, there’s a phone in the model’s hand which looks strikingly similar to that of the leaked Z2 or Z2 Force smartphone. It has a similar design to last year’s Z so compatibility with Moto Mods doesn’t get the ax, while dual rear cameras are obviously present which is a feature highly favored to reach Moto’s 2017 flagships. The handset will also likely feature a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, a new fingerprint sensor, and (unexpectedly) a headphone jack.
While the Z2 series will likely be shown off at this event, we may also see the rumored Moto X4 smartphone. This handset is expected to offer extreme battery life, possibly better than this year’s Z2 Play and likely even topple the 2016 Z Play. With a Snapdragon 660 processor and massive 3,800mAh battery, this smartphone seems to have all the right ingredients to keep chugging along for at least a day or two on a single charge. Of course, we don’t even know whether Moto will come out and officially debut this phone, but I don’t think it would surprise anyone if they did.
We’ll obviously cover all of Moto’s announcements come the 27th so stay tuned.
