Google today began seeding both Pixel and Nexus device users with the June security patch. There’s two different security levels, one labeled 2017-06-01 and the other labeled 2017-06-05. Each has its own set of fixes for specific devices, while overall software optimizations aim to fix some stuttering and slowness that can happen during use. You can read everything fixed in this months’ security patches in the Android Security Bulletin.
Full factory images for both Pixels and Nexuses can be found here, while OTA images for those who don’t wanna erase their data can be found here. Note that these images are still based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat, so if you’re running the Android O beta on your device, you’ll have to wait to get this month’s security patch.
