Apple Upgrades Entire Mac Lineup w/ USB-C, Fresh Graphics and Processors, Brighter Displays

At WWDC 2017, Apple today updated their entire iMac lineup. This includes an upgrade to Intel Kaby Lake processors, up to 64GB of RAM, fresh graphics, improved displays, and two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports. Apple says these new upgrades will further benefit the development of VR which is natively supported in macOS High Sierra thanks to Metal 2.

These new upgrades are available across the iMac lineup, including everything from the 21.5-inch non-Retina iMac to the 27-inch 5K iMac. They start at $1099.

In addition, the entire MacBook lineup has received an upgrade to Kaby Lake chipsets, including the 12-inch MacBook. The MacBook Air will also get additional “megahertz” in the words of Apple. All of these new Macs are shipping today.
