Microsoft’s Surface Pro Refresh Leaks Ahead of Next Week’s Event

Microsoft will be holding an event next Tuesday, May 23rd, in Shanghai, China. It’s been unclear up to this point as to what the company would announce, but as per VentureBeat, we now know the company will finally refresh it’s Surface Pro 4 2-in-1 likely with new internals and simply call it Surface Pro.

Images of the Surface Pro paired with Microsoft’s Surface Arc Mouse and Surface Pen which will soon come in a variety of finishes have also leaked which you can view below.

VentureBeat notes that while Microsoft won’t be refreshing the design of the Surface Pro, they will upgrade the internals likely with Intel’s latest Kaby Lake processors. The publication compares the 2017 Surface Pro to an Apple iPhone S release in which the design will remain the same but the actual specs won’t.

We may also see some new features hit the Surface Pro, but other than arriving in four colors similar to that of the Surface Laptop, it’s unclear what they may be.

We don’t have any specifics as to what Microsoft will upgrade in regards to the Surface Pro, but stay tuned as we’ll have full coverage of next week’s event.
