Samsung’s Galaxy S8 is Getting Google Daydream Support This Summer

Good news for those who are interested in picking up Samsung’s Galaxy S8 or S8+: Google has announced at I/O 2017 that the devices will receive support for its Daydream VR platform this summer via a software update. The company didn’t give a specific time, but we can expect it before the end of September for sure.

In other news, Google also says LG’s next flagship phone will also support Daydream. The handset, likely known as the V30, will also sport an OLED display if a report from last night is of any indication.
