Google today has announced it’s bringing the Assistant to Apple’s iPhone. During their I/O 2017 keynote, the company said their voice assistant would arrive as it’s own app for iOS. Currently, it’s only available in the U.S.
Due to limitations, only basic functions are available from the Assistant like sending an iMessage. Of course, over time it may expand, but I wouldn’t count on that.
Luckily, you do get text input which is something.
If you’re interested, you can download the Google Assistant for iPhone here for free.
Starting today, we’re bringing the #GoogleAssistant to iPhones. Whether at home or on the go, your Assistant is here to help. #io17 pic.twitter.com/a6T20HwnU9
