Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, basically went on a Twitter spree today and answered some questions fans had for him. In the process, the visionary confirmed that his company will unveil the final Model 3 come July. We expect more details on the $35,000 offering around this timeframe, but we do know it’ll be an affordable option for consumers, come with a 215-mile electric range, and begin shipping in late 2017. It’s also expected to enter increased production in 2018, aiding Tesla in reaching a manufacturing rate of 500,00 cars annually. We’ll obviously have more details in the future, so stay tuned.
