Report: Microsoft to Hold Surface Event This Spring

A new report from ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley suggests that Microsoft will hold a Surface event sometime this Spring. The question is, what will they announce?

Foley notes that the Digitimes-reported Surface Book 2 with a non-detachable 13.5-inch display won’t be making an appearance at this event. Sources tell her it isn’t ready yet, so it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer than originally anticipated. There has also been a lack of rumors surrounding the Surface Pro 5, leading to speculation that this won’t be shown off either. What we do know is Microsoft will probably show off the Windows 10 Creators Update once again and introduce some type of hardware (at least according to Foley’s sources). We just don’t know what that hardware is.

We’re just a week into Spring in this part of the world, so we have plenty of time to learn more details regarding Microsoft’s next keynote. Stay tuned.
