Now that we’ve had time to recover from CES 2017, it’s about time to start talking about Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. And what better way to do so then mentioning an invitation to an event not happening until the end of next month already starting to roll out?
According to CNET, Lenovo is currently rolling out an invite to publications and guests for a special event on February 26th in Barcelona, Spain for MWC 2017. It’ll be a Moto-branded event as the famous bat-winged ‘M’ logo can be found on the image in the publication’s article alongside the tagline, “hello moto.” Not much else is known about the keynote, but it’s expected that the company will announce the next generation of Moto G phones, specifically the G5 and G5 Plus rumored to feature Snapdragon 625 processors, 5.5-inch 1080p displays, possibly 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
Of course, we can’t confirm this leak is true, but if it is, we’ve only got roughly six weeks before we see the next generation of Moto G phones.
