Following the release of iOS 10.2 beta 1, Apple today seeded developers with the first beta build of macOS Sierra 10.12.2. This comes a week after the release of Sierra 10.12.1.
So far, we haven’t discovered any user-facing changes or tweaks, but bug fixes and security improvements are definitely present. If you spot something worth noting here, email us at mbedded@icloud.com.
To install macOS Sierra 10.12.2 beta 1 on your registered Mac, head over to the “Updates” tab in the App Store and check for updates. There, you’ll find the new build ready to install. Just click the “Update” next to the macOS Sierra 10.12.2 Beta 1 listing and restart your Mac. The process may take a little while, so be patient and don’t turn off your Mac manually if you don’t have to.
