Apple today began seeding the public with the release of iOS 10.1.1, the latest bug fix and security patch for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This comes exactly one week after the launch of iOS 10.1.
Since this is a dot-dot-dot release, only bug fixes and security improvements are present. However, one bug fix Apple specifically mentions in their release notes is one that affects the Health app. Apparently, some users have reported that certain data about their health and goals within the app wasn’t displaying, therefore causing complaints sent to the company. The Cupertino giant says it’s fixed, but we can’t verify that. If you can, however, let us know at mbedded@icloud.com.
This update fixes bugs including an issue where Health data could not be viewed for some users.
There’s also a chance that improvements to Portrait mode on the iPhone 7 Plus are present, but there’s no promise.
