Following the releases of iOS 10.2 and macOS Sierra 10.12.2 beta 1, Apple today seeded developers with the first build of watchOS 3.1.1 for testing purposes on both the Apple Watch and Apple Watch Series 2. This comes a week after the release of watchOS 3.1.
So far, it seems that just bug fixes and security enhancements are present in this update for the Apple Watch, however if we discover anything noteworthy, we’ll let you know. In addition, if you spot something, email us at mbedded@icloud.com.
To install the first beta of watchOS 3.1.1 on your Apple Watch, navigate to the Watch app on your paired iPhone and tap the “My Watch” tab. From there, go to General > Software Update and you should see the updated build ready for download. Be sure to place your iPhone on Wi-Fi while downloading this software as it’ll surely gobble up plenty of your data.
