Following today’s releases of the first betas of iOS 10.1 and macOS Sierra 10.12.1, Apple has begun seeding registered developers with the first build of the next software update for the Apple Watch: watchOS 3.1. This comes just over a week after the initial rollout of watchOS 3 started.
Like macOS 10.12.1 beta 1, not much can be found in the first beta of watchOS 3.1. The only notable elements are bug fixes and security enhancements. Of course, if you spot something you believe should be noted here in the latest software build for Apple Watch, email us at mbedded@icloud.com.
To install the first beta of watchOS 3.1 on your Apple Watch, navigate to the Watch app on your paired iPhone and tap the “My Watch” tab. From there, go to General > Software Update and you should see the updated build ready for download. Be sure to place your iPhone on Wi-Fi while downloading this software as it’ll surely gobble up plenty of your data.
