Samsung’s Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge to Come in Pink Gold Starting This Sunday

Word has arrived that Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will come to the US in another color option: Pink Gold. The color shade was originally an exclusive to Korea, but the company has now changed their minds and are brining the option to us in the States.

Starting this Sunday, you’ll be able to pick up either the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge in Pink Gold exclusively at Best Buy. Pricing should remain the same for the handsets, with the standard S7 starting at around $620 for 32GB of storage and the S7 Edge starting at around $750 for the same 32GB. The devices will be available for purchase unlocked, meaning they’ll both work on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint by simply popping in a SIM card.

For those of you picking up a Pink Gold Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge on a carrier, Best Buy will give you a $150 gift card on the house. Presumably, the card will be good on products at Best Buy and Best Buy only. We can’t confirm this, but we’re pretty sure we’re right.

Samsung has shared details on why they like Pink Gold so much. You can read their thoughts below.

Pink Gold was chosen as it, like the other colors available for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, is a natural color that provides a sense of comfort. These hues glitter and shimmer as if illuminated from inside their glass surfaces. In particular, the refined Pink Gold color scheme is intended to soothe and incorporate a touch of gentleness, radiance and sophistication to the smartphones’ design.

So essentially, the company thinks Pink Gold is classy.
Yeah, that’s pretty accurate.
