Microsoft’s Now Rolling Out the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update

Exactly one week ago, Microsoft began rolling out the Anniversary Update of Windows 10 to all users of the year old operating system which includes many new features, tweaks, and updates to make the experience more enjoyable and overall better. However, this wasn’t the case for Windows 10 Mobile users since they’ve been waiting since that day for the update to reach their devices. This ends today as Microsoft has announced via a blog post that the W10 Mobile Anniversary Update is now beginning to hit devices world-wide.

The Windows 10 Anniversary Update has begun rolling out for Windows 10 Mobile. The Anniversary Update includes additional features and improvements for your Windows 10 phone.

The exact build number of the update appears to be 14393.67 for many users. However, only users of unlocked Windows 10 Mobile phones are receiving the update today, while those of you locked to a carrier will have to hang tight for a little.

To check and see if you’ve received the Anniversary Update on your Windows 10 Mobile device yet, head over to Settings > Update & security > Phone update > Check for updates. This should notify you that the update is available. Then all you need to do is download and install it. I recommend having at least 80% battery left alongside jumping on a stable Wi-Fi connection so no problems during the process of downloading or installing occur.

Have you received the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update yet? Let us know in the comments!
