tvOS 10 Beta 6 Now Making It’s Way to Devs’ Apple TVs

To finalize this weeks’ round of betas (iOS 10, macOS Sierra, watchOS 3), Apple has begun rolling out the sixth beta of tvOS 10 to developers who have registered to test out the upcoming OS upgrade for the Apple TV before it becomes available to the public later this fall. This comes just under one week after the company made the fifth beta of tvOS 10 available to the same party.

At the moment, just bug fixes, stability enhancements, and security improvements are present in tvOS 10 beta 6. So in other words, we can’t see any changes notable at this time. However, if you spot something you’d like us to check out, please email us at mbedded@icloud.com or tweet @MBEDDEDMaximum.

tvOS 10 has already brought us updates to Siri including YouTube video search, a new dark mode, Single Sign-On for pay-TV applications, support for entering text via your iPhone, an updated Photos app to correspond with iOS 10’s, improvements to Siri, a redesigned Music app, and much more.

To install beta 6 of tvOS 10, head over to Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software on your Apple TV and download the updated build.
