Android Marshmallow Now Hitting Galaxy Note 5 & S6 Edge+ via AT&T

Samsung’s 2015 smartphones the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ are now receiving Android Marshmallow via AT&T, meaning if your device is locked to this network, you’re gonna receive the update OTA.

Features like Google Now on Tap, Doze mode, and more manageable app permissions are all present in Android 6.0.1 for the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ alongside an updated version of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, while the full installation package of the upgraded software weighs a hefty 1.4GB, so be sure to have a full battery and on a sable Wi-Fi network before downloading.

If you wanna check if your device has received Android Marshmallow yet, go to Settings > About phone > Software Updates on your Note 5 or S6 Edge+ and download the software.
