Apple Launches New Watch Sport, Milanese, Nylon Bands, Drops Price to $299

Alongside the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro and iPhone SE, Apple has unveiled new Apple Watch bands to the world, notably a new Space Black Milanese Loop which looks super sharp.

Apple’s new Nylon-wovened bands bring a fresh Spring-like appearance to the Watch while still being cheery for any time of the year. The bands are available in a variety of colors such as Pink, Scuba Blue, Royal Blue, and Black. In addition, the company has also introduced new Sport band colors such as Yellow, Apricot, and Royal Blue.

As expected, the Apple Watch 2 didn’t make an appearance at the event. This is because Apple is still preparing the next generation Watch for an announcement in September which is also expected to be the scene where we’ll catch our first glimpse at the upcoming iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

In addition to the new bands, Appel also updated the pricing for the Watch, reducing the price for the 38mm Sport model to $299, down $50. For a 42mm model, it’ll run you $349. However, the starting price of both the Stainless Steel Watch and Watch Edition remain the same at $549 and $10,000 respectfully.

Stay tuned for future updates from Apple’s recent event!
