A new report by Chinese site MyDrivers claims that the iPhone 6c, Apple’s upcoming sequel to 2013’s 5c, could be called the iPhone 5e rather 6c, with the “e” stating for “enhanced”.
Now, the latest news shows, this new machine might be called iPhone 5e (I did not expect), as the letter “e” represents enhanced [referring to] the addition of Apple Pay, NFC and VoLTE Features.
The report also says the upcoming handset will feature an A8 chip and just 1 GB of RAM rather the A9 and 2GB of RAM expected to be packed inside. They also included a graphic (imaged above) which is just basically a play on the old iPhone 5s page on Apple’s website. But if they tried to make it convincing, they did a horrible job.
This new name for the cheaper variant iPhone is #3 on the list of rumored titles, as previous rumors have suggested that the handset could be called the iPhone 7c, and, of course, the iPhone 6c.
I’d like to have a discussion about this report and get into further detail about it, but this report is so insignificant, it’s hard to. I mean, just look at 9to5Mac’s comment section on their post about this report. They’re not convinced. Just take a look at this guy’s comment:
And right now, you’re probably asking, “Well if you think this ‘report’ is so insignificant, why are you writing about it?” And my answer; to educate everyone on the growing rumors of Apple’s iPhone 6c. That’s all I do this for. I want people to be up to date on the latest technology rumors and, in this case, iPhone rumors. And if you’ve got a problem with that, just block my website. That’s all.
But getting off of that note, the iPhone 6c is expected to launch alongside the upcoming Apple Watch 2 during a March keynote, according to earlier reports. The iPhone 6c is also expected to potentially be called the iPhone 7c (as we previously stated) and feature an A9 processor, 2 GB of RAM, Apple Pay, a 1642mAh battery, 16GB of storage, and Touch ID.
Do you agree with me about this “report”? Leave a comment and let me know!
Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive
a 25 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple
ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
Seeing that Bing and YouTube tend to be connected,
it is rather feasible that published YouTube content may end
up in a Search Engine Optimization boost also, based competitors and optimization of this
video clip information, name and keywords.
Many thanks for the auspicious writeup. It the truth is was really a
amusement account it. Look advanced to far added agreeable on your part!
By the way, how could we communicate?
