Apple has seeded both developers and public beta testers with iOS 9.1, just a week after releasing the 3rd beta of the software to both registered developers and public beta testers alongside iOS 9.0.2. The new iOS 9.1 beta, build 13B136, is available as an over-the-air update and through Apple’s Developer Center.
The new version of iOS will make improvements to the overall system performance and security alongside introduce support for Unicode 8 and new emojis such as a taco, burrito, cheese wedge, middle finger, unicorn head, and more. You also have the option to hide your contact’s set photos in Messages in the new software.
Along with the 4th beta of iOS 9.1, Apple has also seeded developers with the 3rd beta of tvOS, the new operating system for the Apple TV 4. There’s not much to report so far about the new beta for Apple TV, but when there is, we will be publishing updates to this Post as soon as we get word.
